Summerville Second Annual Joint Charity Golf Tournament

Golf Charity Event at the Summerville Country Club benefiting Chairities in the Lowcountry.

 

The goal of this tournament is to raise funds which will allow Councils 6629 and 11910 to continue to support local charities. This is more important than ever before as we face an uncertain future from a financial perspective. 

All our charities are based here in the Low Country with an emphasis on Dorchester County. In this way we can ensure that our dollars are going to help our neighbors. Charities we support include, but are not limited to:

Alzheimer’s Respite Center                             Coastal Center

Summerville Miracle League                           SOS Care

Dorchester Dragons (Special Olympics)        Beyond Basic

Therefore, we are requesting that local merchants, for a minimum of $75.00, sponsor a hole where your business name and address will be prominently displayed. If you wish to donate a prize to be given away at the end of the tournament, then we would be grateful for that as well.

Last year we were able to raise over $10,000 for Charity in our inaugural tournament. This year we are planning on doing better! With your help and generous support we can make this happen!

 Four-player captain’s choice tournament, 8 AM Shotgun Start

Age 70 + may use senior tees

Scoring will be by the Peoria System

Entry Fee: $90.00 per player, Cash and or Check

 Credit Card accepted at check-in

Includes: Cart, green fees, refreshments on the course and a dinner at the Summerville Country Club immediately following completion of play. Additional $10.00 per guest for dinner.

Mulligans @ $5 per player, one per side

Awards: Plaques for First, Second, and Third place team,

On course contests: Longest Drive, Closet to the Hole

Pre-tournament contests:  Raffle, 50/50 and Door Prizes
