Columbus HOPE Foundation Grant to Heros on Horseback
Knights of Columbus Council 12263 presented a Columbus HOPE Foundation grant for $1,801.00 to Heroes on Horseback, in support of their equine-assisted therapeutic riding program. Heros on Horseback Executive Director Robert E. Lee stated "the donation will be used to provide tuition assistance to special needs children in our community, to participate in our empowering equine-assisted therapy".
Further Mr. Lee stated that the Columbus HOPE Foundation generosity is critical to those we serve. Fully 80% of the cost of our equine-assisted therapeutic riding program is supported by similar contributed income. The Columbus HOPE Foundation and Knights of Columbus Council 12263 has proven to be a most important and dependable partner supporting our program.
Thank you for appreciating the power of equine-assisted therapy and for being a part of the Heroes on Horseback family. Your support means so much to our organization and the special needs children we serve.
